TEACHER POLICY
Teaching With Trust, Care, and Integrity at ZoniLive
ZoniLive's group Spanish classes for kids bring language to life through interaction, creativity, and connection. In a supportive online classroom, children learn alongside peers their own age, building language skills while making friends and gaining confidence. Our group classes combine structure with play, helping kids stay engaged while developing real communication skills in Spanish.
Platform Trust and Safety
Teachers are expected to conduct all classes with professionalism, reliability, and care. This includes honoring published class schedules, starting sessions on time, and responding promptly to enrolled families. Clear and timely communication is essential whenever there are changes to schedules, enrollment, or lesson plans.
Classes should be taught from a private, quiet, and professional setting that supports focus and learner safety. Teaching from public spaces, vehicles, bedrooms, bathrooms, or other personal environments does not meet ZoniLive's safety standards.
During live sessions, teachers are responsible for supervising all learners, including any breakout rooms, and for setting clear expectations around behavior and participation. All classes must be hosted exclusively through ZoniLive's approved video conferencing tools to ensure proper moderation and security.
Privacy and Learner Safety
Protecting learner privacy is a shared responsibility. Teachers must verify the identity of enrolled learners at the beginning of each session and immediately report any unauthorized access or unusual activity.
In-person meetings with learners are only permitted when they are part of an official ZoniLive-sponsored event. Guest participation in classes is limited, and unapproved or unverified guests must never be left alone with learners. Teachers may not share account credentials under any circumstances.
All ZoniLive educators are considered mandatory reporters and are expected to follow local laws regarding suspected abuse or neglect. Teachers are also encouraged to alert ZoniLive's safety team if they become aware of serious learner well-being concerns so appropriate support can be provided.
ZoniLive's privacy standards do not allow teachers to store learner information, content, or class recordings outside of the platform. All materials and recordings must remain within ZoniLive's systems.
Use of Third-Party Tools and Materials
Teachers may use external tools or resources to support Spanish learning, but only when those tools are clearly disclosed in the class listing. Resources directed toward younger learners must comply with applicable child privacy laws.
If artificial intelligence tools are used in a class, this must be clearly stated in the class description. For classes involving games or online platforms, teachers should use the most private settings available and collect learner information discreetly rather than through public classroom channels.
Class Listings and Transparency
Class listings should accurately reflect what learners will experience during sessions. Teachers are expected to keep listings current, clear, and truthful, avoiding exaggerated promises or guaranteed outcomes.
Listings should clearly disclose any sensitive topics, age-related considerations, participation risks, required accounts, or additional materials. Titles and descriptions should be age-appropriate, professional, and free from promotional codes or distracting formatting.
Teachers are responsible for respecting intellectual property rights and using only materials they are authorized to share. Significant changes to a class require review to ensure continued alignment with ZoniLive standards.
Class Content and Expectation
Teachers should offer classes only in subjects where they have appropriate knowledge and experience. Spanish lessons and materials must be suitable for the stated age group and presented in an inclusive and respectful manner.
Educators are expected to use language that welcomes all learners and avoids exclusion. Classroom discussions should be facilitated thoughtfully, without promoting personal opinions as fact. Sensitive topics should be approached carefully and, when relevant, presented from multiple perspectives.
Self-paced or independent learning formats must include original instructional content that supports learner understanding and engagement.
Earning and Payments
All payments for ZoniLive classes are processed through the platform.
Accounts Compliance and Eligibility
Teachers must complete required background checks and identity verification processes to remain active on the platform. Educators must reside in a supported country and meet location requirements throughout the year.
Teacher profiles should include a clear photo that accurately represents the educator and a name that reflects their legal identity. Classes that remain inactive for extended periods may be removed to maintain platform quality and reliability.
Our Shared Commitment
Teaching on ZoniLive is more than delivering lessons. It is a commitment to learner safety, respectful communication, and educational integrity. By following these guidelines, teachers help create a trusted environment where learners can confidently explore Spanish and parents can feel secure in their choice of platform. We appreciate the dedication and care our educators bring to the ZoniLive community and look forward to building meaningful learning experiences together.
